What Heplon does

Improve your platform

The ultimate goal of platform engineering is to have a standardized, reliable, and easy-to-use solution for every technical problem beyond business logic. Heplon helps you get there.

Not a platform

Heplon is not a platform. Heplon continuously improves the platform you already have. For example, it opens PRs to add GitLab CI templates or fix stale documentation in Confluence.

Data to inform your roadmap

Heplon ingests data from across your platform and tracks reliability, velocity, and standardization scores. It then identifies opportunities to improve them.

Platform improvements
  • Friction Docs for creating a new Kafka topic are out of date
    Update Kafka topic docs
  • Complexity Teams hand-roll Go build jobs with no shared CI template
    Add Golang build template
  • Reliability payment-service deploys straight to prod, no canary
    Configure canary rollout for payment-service

Ship improvements faster

Heplon opens PRs to implement improvements, so your platform engineers can move faster.

Drive adoption

Heplon ensures platform capabilities are adopted by developers, so systems stay maintainable, reliable, and everyone can move fast.

claude-code
Done. Built the order-dispatcher service:
order-dispatcher/ cmd/server/main.go wires it together internal/dispatch/ breaker-wrapped client internal/health/ /healthz + /readyz :8080 internal/leader/ lease-based election
Used your company-internal logging library acme/go-logger, injected once from main.
Avoided UUIDv7 in the migration script: in production this service runs against Postgres 14, which doesn't support it.
Platform requirements addressed:
• metrics exported on :9090 using naming conventions
• driver-registry calls wrapped in a circuit breaker
• graceful shutdown on SIGTERM with a 30s drain

Platform-aware agentic coding

Heplon's MCP server ensures agents write code that uses your platform's capabilities and integrates correctly with the rest of your systems. AI writes code that is ready to be deployed.

copilot
> Our daily reporting job hasn't been producing output. Is something wrong with K8s job execution?
Root cause confirmed.
The reporting-daily CronJob is failing: image etl-pipeline:1.2.7 does not exist in the registry.
• ran fine until ~30h ago on 1.2.6 • spec bumped to 1.2.7 ~20h ago • every run since: ImagePullBackOff
Roll back to the known-good tag:
kubectl set image cronjob/reporting-daily \ reporter=…/etl-pipeline:1.2.6 -n reporting-prod

Minimize friction for developers

Heplon exposes platform knowledge and live data into coding agents, so developers can use the platform and troubleshoot issues without leaving their terminal or waiting for a platform engineer.

Migrate old code to new capabilities

When you ship a new platform capability, Heplon can measure adoption across your repositories and open PRs to migrate old code.
